Signe Nichols is a writer, speaker and full-time network marketer. Signe's achievements and success have been greatly influenced by overcoming the challenges given to her in life, the amazing resilient people she’s met and learned from in network marketing and the wealth of information available in the personal development books, tapes and CD's she’s had access to because of the network marketing industry.
When Signe was 20 years old she was a single parent living in financially destitute, poverty-level conditions with her young son. Fortunately, Signe became aware of a single parent living community in Denver, Colorado called Warren Village and was able to live there for two years while attending a business college.
While living at Warren Village, Signe was greatly influenced by a woman who came to speak to the Warren Village residents. The woman was known in the Denver area as Hub Cap Annie (Jane Withers). Jane was a former drug addict and homeless woman who triumphed over adversity and became a popular, wealthy and influential business owner with several store-front locations around the city selling used and new hubcaps.
Hub Cap Annie was quite a local personality and at one time. Billboards of her in long blonde braids and a Viking costume were all around the city becoming maybe even more well known that the Bronco’s John Elway. Hub Cap Annie is still in business today.
Signe was influenced by her determination, independence and creativity and decided at that time that one day she would own her own business and work for herself.
This dream didn’t take place for several years to come but, to this day, Signe keeps that inspirational story in her mind.
While in her early 20’s she struggled financially to make it, but eventually Signe began to learn and grow and change and create income enough to support her and her young son. Seven years later, she met and married her husband Karl.
In 1999, Karl began with a network marketing company. Signe was the ultimate network marketing skeptic and initially wanted nothing to do with the industry or his “side” business. She always supported Karl in his desire to do network marketing figuring it wouldn’t really last. She even negotiated for “Friday night date night” where they would spend time together with no talk of network marketing, the company, the new distributors or anything to do with the business.
Little did she know this would be the business she always dreamed about (even better) and is now able to enjoy time and financial freedom because of network marketing. In her own words, Signe says “I love what this industry can do for people, spiritually, financially, emotionally and personally. Because of this industry, I have the confidence, information and self-esteem to create my life how I want it and now I am able to really enjoy and live my life to the fullest every single day!”
One of Signe’s greatest desires is to inspire others to achieve what they want out of life just like she was inspired by one woman’s accomplishments 18 years ago.
Now Signe enjoys not only network marketing but enjoys writing, speaking and presenting about the network marketing industry and educating women on financial confidence.
Signe is an Ezine @rticles Expert Author, a contributing writer for the upcoming Chicken Soup for the Network Marketer’s Soul book and author of the upcoming The Book of Etiquette for the MLM Gangster and Other Stories from the Rumble which is a book of etiquette for network marketers, including funny short stories about network marketing mishaps from others successful in network marketing.
Signe currently lives Glendale, Arizona with her husband Karl and two Bichon Fraise dogs, Dulce and Star. They will be moving to Santa Fe, New Mexico in the next year to two years to build their dream home and continue educating individuals about network marketing, green living, financial independence and financial confidence.
